This self-adhesive tape seals sterilization packages and visually indicates exposure to steam conditions. The indicator ink changes color (commonly from yellow/white/green to a dark brown/black) when exposed to the required time and temperature in a steam sterilizer or autoclave, typically at 121°C or 134°C.
